This course is managed by the Crime Records Service (CRS) of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the initial certification expires after two years, so users must retest on-line every two years. This training covers all operating procedures, coding, and message formats and system management responsibilities for TLETS/NLETS. TCIC/NCIC Less Than Full Access
This Course is designed for operators who perform NCIC/TCIC functions at any level lower than full access. Generally, this pertains to inquiry only, including mobile data terminal (MDT) or notebook computer users. Operators must receive this training within the first six months of assignment or employment. In order to comply with federal requirements, operators must recertify within two years of certification or most recent recertification date.

This course is designed for operators who perform all NCIC/TCIC functions, including inquiry, entry, modification, clearing, canceling, and III functions. Operators must receive this training within the first six months of assignment or employment, regardless of whether these duties are performed on a full-time or part-time basis. In order to comply with federal requirements, operators must recertify within two years of certification or most recent recertification date.

Bullying is prevalent in the workplace including America’s 9-1-1 Comm Centers. The number of U.S workers affected by bullying is a staggering 65.6 million. In this APCO presentation/ seminar, we will define what bullying is and provide some examples. We will also look at the people it affects in our Comm Centers.
